Richmond day 1

Today was a lot of fun, I did 3 tattoos and even got to do a few custom pieces. I will actually try to post some pictures when I get to my computer. I met Brian Bruno, who is hands down one of the nicest and most humble people I have met In a long time. His tattoos are absolutely ridiculous. Tomorrow before the convention Ricky and I are going to stop by his shop in Richmond and nerd out. Also got to see Danny Reed today and hang with Dustin Golden and Matt Sager for sometime.

So far the convention is a great success and I think will overall be a great time.

I'm very happy lately and I plan on keeping it that way. Positive attitudes can get you far in life.

Richmond Virginia Tattoo Convention

So this weekend I'm going to be working the Richmond Tattoo Convention. It should be a pretty good time! i drove down with my buddy Ricky today, and i managed to get a speeding ticket in the first hour of driving. no nonsense binghamton police!

so im going to stay up tonight and sketch out some fun tattoos that i hope to do this weekend. lets see how this works out. tomorrow is day one.


overall i've been feeling actually pretty good, ive been staying busy at work and spending a lot of time drawing and watching movies at home.

i am actually going to be featured in an art show in NYC in july. some of the other artists featured are the likes of: mike rubendall, chris odonnoll, todd noble, chris conn.... just to name a few. to say the least im pretty intimidated! but im trying to remain confident in myself and that i will pull off a few good pieces.

back to BK

Im back in brooklyn, this time just to hang. no agenda. i needed sometime to just relax and not worry about anything.



i spoke to my dad for a while the other night while coming home from driving up north. he had a lot of good advice and he always makes me feel good. im happy that i make him proud and that he constantly encourages me.


the next few months will hopefully bring about a lot of change. we will see.

I've been too unproductive for words the last 2 days. I had to force myself to leave the house around 730 tonight.
I ended up doing a random tattoo and staying late to tattoo a cool tiger head on erik.
Got some alto cinco and now its back to my icebox room and my cozy bed for movies.

June is coming up fast and so is the richmond convention. Good times for sure.

Today I gave myself a tattoo to celebrate mine and zoe's lil puppy cc.
Something I have been meaning to do for sometime and I'm happy that I figured out what I wanted and where.

Today I will be better than yesterday, so I am always the best I can be.

I purchased my first Chris Conn Askew original recently, and it came in the mail yesterday!
Definately a great treat for myself.

The shop has slowed down a little bit which has opened up my time for personal artwork, which I hope to start up again soon.



My mind has beening racing in all directions lately. Tossing and turning and keeping me always guessing.


I just hope to find a steady path soon.

the long road home.

The drive back on any road trip always feels about twice the distance and time, but thankfully I had erik there to keep company and have good conversations with.


I got tattooed by grez again today, we worked on my back some more. Its nearing the end and I can't wait. Getting my back tattooed feels terrible.

Ate some great italian food with with matt and erik, I got cheese raviolis and lots of bread and had some fresh fruit for dessert.

Matt and I were super lazy last night that was a lot of fun, ate mcdonalds at 2 38 which is just gross.

Time to get some shut eye.
